“As a Thai kickboxer athlete why is your footwork different from the other Muay Thai athletes”?

This is what a lot of people have asked me this question, first of all, I would say in kickboxing, there are many places worth learning, such as exploring the inner self and exquisite technology in fight game, but also have fists and footwork. So when I learned Muay Thai, I told myself i can’t accept it.

China has a saying  “take the essence to the dregs”

That is the reason why so much food on the table people will only eat their favorite foods.

Indeed relative to other Muay Thai athletes I relatively have flexible footwork, but after graduating from university

I have spent my free time practicing in art of muay Thai training environment, including been in a WLF Kickboxing China national team.

And then at my own expense travelled to study muay thai in Thailand in its peaceful environment and heart of kickboxing legacy.

So my footwork and most muay Thai skills is no different from  hands, until I met coach Eddy.

he comes from New Zealand, he is also a muay Thai expert legend of new zealand and international decorated veteran champion who started training at age 12yr, who is also one of the first foreigner fighter pioneers to indroduce muay thai into china back in 1990.

“A bit of history thats lost in time of legends”.

But with boxing & muay thai footwork and ringcraft expertise , Especially his footwork and sports phsycology, speed, power,  he will use his footwork in the ring to mobilize the other into his own pace, using ropes traps to seize the moment to give the opponent damaging blow.I know in many places i have the trace of his footwork. So it need to be emphasized that it is not because he was a single technology, that I only want to learn his footwork, like I said before, I will only go to learn some suitable skills for my own technical skill and style, according to the characteristics of their chosen skills for themselves and they can harness technical improvement, rather than blindly accepting everything.

I think for a fast-growing professional athletes is very important! , So the style and features, I think about my game. Coach Eddy influence on me is the greatest!
